Jeeva Bhat

Jeeva has over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur across various sectors that include IT/software, event planning, and consumer retail in India and Russia. In each of these entrepreneurial stints, she has been in operational and marketing/branding roles where she helped set up the firms, hired and trained personnel, helped design and create the marketing collateral, and then responsible for ongoing operations. She has also been an Independent PR and Branding Consultant to various businesses that range from art fairs, retail, to the F&B industries.

GEN India was the partner for executing Microsoft’s “Highway to a 100 Unicorns’ ‘ initiative across India, SEA and APAC. Jeeva was the Program Director who led the initiative to support the planning, execution, and engagement with Start Ups and ecosystem players across all the various geographies. She is passionate about the environment and currently is promoting conscious textiles, rehabilitating weaving communities and supporting farmers. Her volunteering activities include a Farmers Market to promote chemical and pesticide free products grown by close to 250 farmers from Himachal and the interiors of UP, being an activist for Vermicompost pits and close to zero waste by first creating a model example in her neighborhood, to programs to teach skills to the differently abled.
